Alliance Oil Company Ltd was incorporated in Bermuda in 1998 where it has its registered office.

The company's shares are publicly traded, through Swedish Depositary Receipts, on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic in Stockholm where they are listed since May 2007.

The company's governance is based on the company's articles of association and bye-laws, the listing agreement with the NASDAQ OMX Nordic and other applicable laws and regulations.

In the absence of a Bermudian corporate governance code, the implementation of the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance started in 2006. Since July 1, 2008 the revised Swedish Code of Corporate Governance is applied. Since 2006, Alliance has developed and implemented an application of the code that also corresponds to Bermudian law and company practice.
